History – Reenactment

Who hasn’t read James Fenimore Cooper’s The Last of the Mohicans when they were kids? 2007 marked the 250th anniversary of the siege of Fort William Henry. The battle was re-imagined with a lively reenactment. Cannons, muskets and all. It was a blast!!! Literally.

Similar reenactments occur almost every year at Fort Ticonderoga if you are interested.

The following is a sampling of reenactments moments experienced at Fort William Henry, Fort Ticonderoga, and Battle of Hubbardton (which is in Vermont and was fought during the American Revolutionary War).
